Description:  

Flattened round conifer or unevenly conical when the plant is young. Asi it ages it becomes broadly conical. Thick scaly bright green leaves.

Requires cool, moist acid or alkaline soils.

This is one of the most popular conifers for use in rock gardens.

Reaches 1.5-2m tall and 1-1.5m wide.
