Description:  

Large deciduous shrub or small tree with upright habit, well branched.

Oval leaves, pale green and brilliant crimson in autumn.

Tollerates all types of soil except chalky soil.

Reaches 6-10m tall and 4-8m wide.

Florida Rubra becomes covered in numerous bright pink bracts. Leaves are a lighter shade of green.
