Dwarft like conifer with conical-erect habit, pointed with age, rather untidy, yet attractive.

Silver blue needles and unusual bushy branches. large numbers of striking red flowers. oval or cylindrical cones, long lasting.

Reaches 4-6m tall and 3.5-5m wide.
